ABOUT

Translation denotes the process of moving something from one side to another. You cross a bridge, and do not leave anything behind. But what has meaning on one side may be devoid of meaning and value on the other. Feeling at home in two languages means that both mentalities are your own and you can move seamlessly in and out of one or the other, you become the bridge. Yet, how do you manage the transfer without compromising the goods? And not cut corners. I love a good challenge.

Delivering the goods in mint condition means to:

  • transform a client’s brief into a precise written form that convinces its recipients;

  • pen a speech that will make the client excel when they deliver it because it encompasses all they want to say;

  • translate drama in such a way that source and target text are beautifully in sync and fit for acting;

  • produce and translate a company’s web content; translate or edit a book, novel or brochure for publication with a renowned publishing house;

  • ensure that the contents of my courses meet my students' needs.
